Andrew Platt is a corporate strategist and operations professional. His current work focuses on implementing blockchain supply chain systems, and advising startup companies in the crypto and blockchain community.

Andrew’s work is solutions-driven and outcome-focused. He has worked at the executive level at multiple organizations, with a proven record of leading growth and change management strategies. As a manager, Andrew has successfully led teams in both white and blue-collar environments, managing people and processes to profitable outcomes. A successful entrepreneur, Andrew has grown and sold one business and advised small and mid-cap clients in a variety of business strategy and operations.

Building on 15 years’ leadership experience in the hospitality industry, Andrew is focused the impact of IoT, AI, and Blockchain in addressing challenges in food supply chains. Andrew’s expertise and robust network supports his clients’ work with the combination of these emerging technologies. Some of Andrew’s clients include an internationally focused non-profit using blockchain for social good, a startup focused on authenticating spice provenance and purity utilizing blockchain technology, a post token sale blockchain-based gaming and streaming company, and an online higher education provider. He is also the Group Lead for Food Safety with the Government Blockchain Association. Andrew regularly presents on blockchain technology and supply chains to multi-national corporations, educational institutions, and venture firms.

In addition to his consulting work, Andrew is the Executive Director of the Nadia Sophie Seiler Fund, which supports programs in libraries and music. He holds a B.A. in History and Politics from Oberlin College, an M.B.A. from the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, and possesses a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
