Irene is a seasoned global HR executive who has a 20+ year track record of developing talent and organizational capabilities at premier pharmaceutical, consumer products and hospitality companies such as Bristol-Myers Squibb, Colgate-Palmolive and Marriott. In these organizations, Irene has achieved significant talent results by utilizing best practices in leadership development, succession management, executive education and coaching and employee engagement. In addition to being a senior HR business partner for large International and U.S populations, Irene has also led HR Centers of Excellence as VP of global career development, global staffing and head of International Benefits. In HR business partner, COE leader and consulting roles, Irene has successfully driven high-change initiatives in integrating global acquisitions, designing HR shared services models, launching new performance management systems and implementing accelerated talent development processes. In addition, Irene has deep expertise in leading HR for Asia Pacific markets through economic downturns and high-growth periods.

Irene holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and a MBA (Beta Gamma Sigma Honors) in Finance and International business from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business. She is a certified executive coach from Columbia Business School & Teacher’s college executive coaching program. Irene is also certified in the Birkman Coaching & Assessment Method.
