Gerri Bostick

Gerri is a skilled talent management consultant and executive coach, specializing in leadership impact. She offers substantial experience in transformational change and expertise in building effective and sustainable leadership practices that result in business success. She values partnering with her clients to develop creative strategies for organizational and leader development and growth. Gerri is well-versed in helping organizations bridge the gaps between current state and vision, focusing primarily on the senior leadership. She coaches leaders to achieve their dreams and goals, and eliminate the obstacles, fears and “stuck” mindsets that block them from extraordinary achievements. Gerri is known for her charismatic and warm persona, as well as her depth, astuteness, and ability to inspire others.

Gerri joined JDRF (formerly Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) as CHRO, her most recent positon, to redesign the HR department and align the organization’s strategy with its people practices. She oversaw talent management, executive and leadership development and assessment, total rewards, and performance management. Prior to JDRF, Gerri established the HR function at ANN, INC and held the positions of VP & Sr. VP of Human Resources. She was a catalyst in helping to build an organization of over 600 stores, and created the talent portfolio for newly created businesses such as Ann Taylor Loft and Gerri also served as an advisor to the CEO and EVP of White House Black Market during a major organizational change. She has advised over a dozen CEOs on organizational transformation and change, and has introduced innovative people processes in performance management, employee engagement, and total rewards.

Gerri has a B.A. in Psychology from Winthrop University, an M.A. in French from Atlanta University, and has completed graduate courses at the NYU School of Business. She received her certificate in Strategic Human Resource Management from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Business Administration and her CPCC (Certified Professional Coactive Coach) credentials from CTI, the Coaches Training Institute. She is also certified as an MBTI (Myers Briggs) facilitator, a Six Sigma HR White Belt, and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional. Gerri is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the Financial Women’s Association (FWA) of New York.
