As a Principal with Jackson Hole Group, Stewart Gill consistently exhibits exceptional creativity and decision-making skills, helping dynamic profit and nonprofit organizations through strategic organization transitions. He brings a wealth of knowledge from his outstanding, cross-industry career, spanning almost three decades in global human resource leadership.


Stewart works with Boards, CEOs, CFOs, Executive Directors, and strategic HR Executives, assisting them with assessing and implementing systems and programs that reinforce behaviors to drive value creation.


His focus on results within a business context allows him to advise organizations on operation effectiveness in their programs & operational activities. Stewart develops competitive compensation programs and performance management systems, aligned with business metrics that drive optimum performance, and attract, motivate, and retain the best talent. In addition, he focuses his consulting work on managing mergers and acquisitions from strategy development through due diligence and successful integration of the acquired company.


Known for his strong core values and innovative ability to identify and create value through change efforts, Stewart's adaptive leadership has recently been felt at Palm, Inc., where he was actively engaged in leading the spin-off of Palm from 3-Com and the creation of an independent billion-dollar company. At Quantum Corporation he served as VP of Corporate Human Resources and was responsible for global compensation and benefit programs, staffing, employee relations, and human resource operations and systems. He also served as Director of Compensation and Benefits for Compaq in Houston, Texas, during the company's early growth years, and held a number of HR positions for smaller software, hardware, and computer services companies.


Stewart completed his undergraduate education at Kent State University. A consummate public speaker, he is often asked to talk on Human Capital Management topics ranging from driving change in compensation to mergers and acquisitions.


He is past President of the Board for Houston's Northwest Harris County American Heart Association and currently sits on several community-focused Boards.

Stewart is certified in several assessment tools including Lominger and 5Dynamics, where he has received his master certification allowing him to certify others in the online instrument.
