Prior to founding Equilar, David Chun was a Vice President in the Technology Investment Banking Division of Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette (DLJ). Mr. Chun's transaction experience includes private and public capital raising and M&A advisory assignments for emerging and Fortune 500 technology clients, including Nortel Networks, Advanced Micro Devices and JNI. Prior to DLJ, Mr. Chun was a management consultant with Bain & Company and a Project Manager with Kenan Systems, a telecom billing software developer that was acquired by Lucent Technologies in 1999. He was also one of the Founding Members of the Korean American Society of Entrepreneurs (KASE), a non-profit organization devoted to fostering entrepreneurship in the Korean-American community. Mr. Chun received a BS with Honors in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
